What inspires you to
compete?
|
|
My Dad. He use to race motocross
and I admire him for it. It's something we can share together
as a father & daughter. My mom and brother are also
a huge part of my racing hobby.

Why do you compete?
|
|
I love riding my quad and
a good challenge. I also love hanging out with my friends
when I am at the track.

|
Describe your style!
|
|
I love racing, but never get
angry when someone beats me. My mini quad competitors are
my friends. When we are not racing on the track, we are
hanging out in the pit area together.

What do you want to be
when you grow up?
|
| I would like
to open a shelter and take in unwanted animals. |
|
| |
| Why
did you choose #25 for your racing number: |
| I chose #25
for my racing number because that was my dad's racing number
when he use to race. |
|
| |
| How
often do you race? |
| I race 2-4
times every weekend. I love racing, so racing once a week
just isn't enough for me. I would race every race, every weekend,
if my parents would let me. |
|
| |
| What
kind of advice do your parents give you before a race? |
| Well, if
I told I would be giving away my secrets! LOL Seriously, they
tell me to stay focused, and do my best. They give me small
tips on how to ride the track, but my parents don't care how
I finish. Their excitment doesn't come from seeing me get
1st place, it comes from them seeing me race with all I have
to give. They would rather see me get 3rd and have raced my
hardest then see me get 1st and not have tried at all. |
|
| |
| What
advice would you give to someone just starting out in the
Mini Quad Class? |
| I would tell
them not to go out and expect to win right away. When I first
started riding, I would get lapped. Then one day I quit getting
lapped. Then I started finishing in the middle of the pack.
Now I finish towards the top. You can't expect to be fast
overnight. You have to set small goals for yourself. Each
time you achieve a goal, you have somehow improved your riding
skills. |
